Dr. Jacquelyn Green
With over two decades of experience in the dental field, Dr. Green certainly knows her way around a smile. She loves being able to help our wonderful patients improve their health and confidence while also working with the best dental team around.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Green’s mother decided to attend dental school when Dr. Green was a senior in high school. After a few years, Dr. Green decided that she wanted to follow in her mom’s footsteps and become a dentist, as well. When Dr. Green graduated from dental school, they had opened the very first mother-daughter dental office in the state of Texas. Today, Dr. Green couldn’t imagine having any other job.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Green pursued her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas and then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio for her doctorate of dental surgery. Today, she is certified in CPR and sedation dentistry. Dr. Green regularly pursues continuing education to keep her clinical skills sharp and is an active member of the esteemed Seattle Study Club.
Outside of the Dental Field, What Do You Like to Do?
An Amarillo native, Dr. Green is happily married with three children and three stepchildren. When she isn’t busy helping teeth shine brighter, she enjoys spending quality time with the kids and her other loved ones, as well as playing tennis, exercising, traveling, snow skiing, and sailing. An interesting fact about Dr. Green is that she’s lived in four different countries.
